playing with amara & emma (and cindy)

amara teaches simon how to use her music table, and sneaks in a kiss. then we played on the playscape and the swings. amara is a fabulous swing pusher.

and why is this small amount of snow such a big deal? because

it rarely snows in zone 8. snow at noon - gone in 4 hours.

music class redux

simon frequently sits with other mamas & papas and 'breaks' my heart

on music day. i'm thrilled he's so comfortable during class, but it is

awkward to sing 'wheels on the bus' and do the motions to myself.

the drums until the sticks go back in the bag - very cute.

simon looks at neal with rapt attention every week -

he wiggles in my lap if someone blocks his view - he just
wants to watch neal, the guitar, the movements...

valentine's day hair cut

we cut the longer curls and bottled them so we always have the 1st curls -

simon held them and longed for days gone by...

seriously the shaving of the locks was a little traumatic - there were tears and very tight hugs while simon tried to climb up me to get away from the clippers

oh so handsome and then he spits up and has a costume change before books
